Import Deals
1
Choose a workflow
The selected workflow determines the accepted stages and workflow-specific fields.
2
Upload and map the CSV
Map each column to a Deal field. Keep stage names and other controlled values consistent with Settings.
3
Review the preview
Resolve invalid stages, missing required values, and field-type errors before you confirm.
4
Commit the import
Import only after the preview matches the intended records. A changed file or mapping requires a fresh preview.
Prepare the file
Work import requires a workspace administrator and Work access. Each CSV can contain up to 2,000 rows and 10 MB of text. Create or import the companies and people first. A referenced company must match one existing company by CVR, or by name when no CVR is supplied. Contact email addresses must match existing people. An owner’s email must belong to an active workspace member. Missing or ambiguous matches appear as row errors; the import does not create those related contacts for you. Review the counts for records to create, update, skip, or reject. Repeating an unchanged completed import returns its recorded result. Matching a later import normally uses the workflow, record name, company, and first contact email. Changing those identifying values can create a new record, so review the preview before importing a corrected file. Successful rows can commit even when other rows fail. Download the error report, correct the affected rows, and review another preview before retrying.Choose the right place for data
- Custom fields hold typed values such as text, numbers, dates, selections, or other configured field types.
- Metadata holds structured integration or operational values supported by the record.
- Notes hold readable context and can be edited or removed without changing the core profile.
- Tags apply the shared taxonomy across record types.
