Membership grants access to a specific workspace. A member’s role and feature access then determine what they can see and change.

Manage members

Workspace administrators open Settings > Members to add eligible organization users, review current members, change supported roles, or disable workspace access. Disabling a member blocks the workspace. It does not transfer their owned records or remove their name from history. Reassign important owners and Tasks as part of offboarding.

Administrator boundaries

  • An organization administrator manages organization-wide settings, billing, shared feature access, branding, and organization-level connections.
  • A workspace administrator manages the active workspace, its members, context, and supported workspace settings.
  • A member works with the features and records their access allows.
One person can have different access in different workspaces.

Feature access

Organization administrators can configure member access to supported product areas. Access checks happen on the server and apply to navigation, records, imports, the Assistant, MCP, and the public API. Feature access does not activate a paid feature on its own. Work, meeting, or other plan requirements must also be satisfied.
Test access with a normal member account when you change a template. Administrator access can hide gaps in the intended member setup.
