Before you start
You need organization administrator access in Floral and a ClubCore API key for the account you want to connect. Ask your ClubCore administrator or ClubCore support for the key. The key needs these permissions:Connect ClubCore
1
Open ClubCore settings
In Floral, open Settings > Sources > CRM connections and select ClubCore. Check that you are in the workspace where you want to use the connection.
2
Check the API key
Paste the key into API key, then select Check connection and load types. Floral checks read access and loads the activity and contact types from your ClubCore account.
3
Choose the activity settings
Set Activity source to the name you want shown on exported activities. The default is
floral.Leave Contact type empty unless you want to apply one to every exported activity. Select any Additional activity types that should accompany every export. You choose these by name.Meeting and briefing themes are included automatically. ClubCore creates an activity type when a theme name does not already exist.4
Save the connection
Select Save ClubCore connection. When you return to change the activity settings, leave API key blank to keep the saved key. Enter a new key only when you want to replace it.
The connection check verifies read access. It does not create a test activity or check write permissions. Complete the first-export check below before relying on the connection.
How Floral finds the company
Floral remembers the ClubCore record linked to each company. If there is no saved link, it searches both members and non-members for the company’s CVR.
You may be asked to choose a company before starting a briefing. If an approved meeting needs a choice, open the meeting and select Choose CRM company in the CRM section. Floral saves your choice for later briefings and meeting exports.
When it creates a company, Floral sends known details such as its name, CVR, address, website, and industry information. It leaves unknown fields and ClubCore company categories unset. It reuses an existing match without overwriting its company details.
What the connection does
Prepare briefings from ClubCore history
Floral reads the linked company’s details, available contacts and subscriptions, and up to 100 recent activities. It uses that context when preparing a company briefing.Save meeting minutes and briefings as activities
Floral sends approved meeting minutes and completed briefings to the linked company in ClubCore. Each activity includes the text, a link back to Floral, the date, the configured source, and the relevant themes. Any additional activity types and contact type selected in settings are included too. An attendee is associated only when their email matches an active contact link on that company. If several attendees match, Floral uses a single primary contact when one is available. Otherwise, it leaves the contact association empty. This does not create new contacts. ClubCore checks repeated exports for duplicates using the company, calendar day, note, and activity types. Retrying the same export can reuse its existing activity. Editing the text can create a new activity.Check your first export
