# Settings and Sources

> Find the right settings area and add web, file, or text Sources for workspace knowledge.

Settings are divided by who they affect:

* **Organization** settings apply across the organization and normally require an organization administrator.
* **Workspace** settings apply to the active workspace and normally require a workspace administrator.
* **Personal** settings affect only your account.

The sidebar hides controls you cannot manage. It can also hide settings for features that are not available.
